Waterloo, Ames, Cedar Falls, Mason City, Marshalltown, Fort Dodge, Boone, Carroll, Waverly, Denison, Webster City, Nevada, Estherville, Algona, Iowa Falls, Hampton, Jefferson, Forest City, Emmetsburg and Garner.

The La Crosse River is out of it's banks, especially from West Salem to the La Crosse Area. A quick jump of 1 to 2 feet is possible along the La Crosse River, mainly near West Salem, depending on water flow from Lake Neshonoc. Other areas can expect elevated water levels to continue with impacts to several secondary roads and poor drainage areas. Some locations that will experience flooding include... La Crosse, Austin, Platteville, Sparta, Tomah, Decorah, Charles City, Oelwein, Prairie Du Chien, Richland Center, La Crescent, Mauston, Viroqua, Waukon, Lancaster, Cresco, Osage, New Hampton, Caledonia and West Union.

NWS LaCrosse (Southwestern Wisconsin, Southeastern Minnesota, and Northeast Iowa)
.The combination of snow melt and rainfall has caused flooding along portions of the Cedar river and Dobbins Creek. Some ice jamming is possible which could lead to rapid fluctuations in river levels. Keep up to date with the latest river forecasts. Water levels were falling at both the Cedar River at Austin and at Dobbins Creek in Austin. Therefore, the flood warnings have been cancelled along the Cedar River at Austin and at Dobbins Creek in Austin. River forecasts take into account both observed and forecast precipitation. The Flood Warning continues for The Cedar River at Charles City.

* At 10:30 AM Friday the stage was 12.7 feet.

* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.

* Impact...At 12.0 feet...Barricading of streets begins, and the intersection of Riverside and North Illinois Streets may be flooded. Cable pedestrian bridge is closed. &&
