Fire severely damages local auto repair shop

$125,000 in damage was done

CHARLES CITY, Iowa - A local auto repair shop is severaly damaged after a fire Friday night.
Charles City Fire Cheif, Eric Whipple, tells KIMT, Nelson Tire and Auto is facing $125,000 in damages after a fire broke out in a messanine area that overlooks the shop.
The investigation continues but Whipple says they are leading towards an electrical issue that sparked the fire. No one was hurt.
