Featured performers announced for North Iowa Band Festival

80th annual event begins May 24.

MASON CITY, Iowa - The 80th Annual North Iowa Band Festival is announcing its musical entertainment line up.

On Friday, Betty and the Gents will kick things off, followed by The Dweebs. Saturday will see two Iowa groups take the stage, Brad+Kate and Decoy.

Local musicians from the Mason City Municipal Band and students from the Mason City Middle School Band, High School Jazz Band and High School Orchestra will play on The Plaza throughout the weekend.

The North Iowa Band Festival, running May 24 through 28, will also feature a carnival and marketplace.
