A Rochester officer stopped a vehicle around 10:20 pm Monday near the intersection of 4th Avenue and 14th Street SE for a registration violation. The officer says when he spoke with the driver there was an “overwhelming” smell of marijuana.
Police say a search of the vehicle discovered 272 grams of marijuana, 13 grams of marijuana butane hash oil, and 166 tab doses of LSD.
The driver, 22 year-old Samuel Coto of Rochester, is facing charges of 4th degree possession of controlled substances and 5th degree possession and sale.
