CERRO GORDO COUNTY, Iowa - A 61-year-old Mason City man was killed Monday in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 65.
The Iowa State Patrol said Timothy Wilmarth was killed in the crash that injured three others.
The three inured were Exiquio Martinez, 21, of Hampton, Mayra Perez, 23, of Hampton, and Alvaro Almonte, 25, of Hampton.
Authorities said the vehicle driven by Martinez was northbound when the driver lost control due to slippery road conditions.
It slid across the centerline and struck Wilmarth’s vehicle. The three injured were all taken to MercyOne North Iowa.
The crash happened just south of Rockwell.
