ROCHESTER, Minn. – A new court date has been set for an accused double murderer in Rochester.
Glenn Roger Johnson, 54 of Rochester, is charged with two counts of 1st degree murder. Police say he killed Phillip William Hicks and Eric Alan Flemming on March 17 at Castleview Apartments, where all three men were living.
Hicks and Flemming were pronounced dead at St. Mary’s Hospital after being found stabbed at the apartment complex.
A judge issued an order on April 25 for Johnson to undergo an examination to determine if he is mentally ill or fit to stand trial. The results of that exam were completed on July 23 and Johnson is now scheduled to make his initial court appearance on August 21.
Johnson remains in the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center on $3,000,000 bond.
