Collision in Charles City

Two drivers cited by police.

CHARLES CITY, Iowa – Two drivers are cited after an accident Thursday afternoon.

The Charles City Police Department says Ryan Zuspan, 17 of Charles City was eastbound on Gilbert Street around 5:18 pm when he hit a vehicle driven by Christopher Rodgers, 34 of Charles City.

Police say the crash caused an estimated $10,000 in damage to the vehicles.

Zuspan was cited for unsafe passing and Rodgers was cited for no insurance. There were no reported injuries.
