Boys volleyball emerges in southern Minnesota

At Kasson-Mantorville High School, the Boys Volleyball Club is trying to break the stigma that volleyball is just a girls sport.

ROCHESTER, Minn.- The Komets Boys Volleyball Club held an open gym last Sunday at the National Volleyball Center in Rochester. Joining coach Adam VanOort were professional volleyball players Ben Shamrokh, Brian Bomgren and Joe Klein, who all shared their experiences playing the sport. 

VanOort is hoping to add more teams in the Southeastern Minnesota area.
