UPDATE: Minnesota man killed in NE Iowa farm accident

Ran over by a combine in Allamakee County.

DORCHESTER, Iowa — A man unloading corn into a wagon has been killed when a combine ran over him.

It happened a little before 9:30 pm Tuesday on a farm northern Allamakee County in between Dorchester, IA, and Bee, MN.  Gerald Oren Myhre, 64 of Caledonia, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Allamakee County Sheriff's Office was aided by the Houston County Sheriff's Office, the Spring Grove Fire Department and Ambulance Service, Gunderson Air Ambulance, and Veterans Memorial Hospital Ambulance.

This incident remains under investigation.Authorities say a man died when a farm machine ran over him in northeast Iowa's Allamakee County.
