AUSTIN, Minn. – A guilty plea is entered for an attempted burglary in February.
Sekouba Kenneh, 19 of Austin, pleaded guilty Monday to 3rd degree damage to property. Austin police say Kenneh kicked in the door of a home in the 1100 block of 9th Avenue NW on February 3, but ran away when he saw the man inside had a baseball bat.
An estimated $1,100 in damage was done to the door.
Kenneh’s trial was scheduled to start Monday in Mower County District Court but his sentencing is now set for April 5, 2019. Two charges of attempted burglary will be dismissed as part of his plea deal.
