AUSTIN, Minn. – Austin police have released surveillance images from a gas station that was robbed May 4.
Austin police say an employee of Freedom reported the robbery around 11 p.m. and said two black males entered the store, showed a black handgun and demanded money from the safe. The employee says the robbers took money from the safe and the cash register and then ran to the north.
Police released the images Thursday morning. Anyone with information should contact the Austin Police Department at 507-437-9405.
A second robbery in as many weeks was reported Sunday night at Apollo III. There is no word on if the robberies are connected.
