ROCHESTER, Minn. – An Olmsted County man is pleading not guilty to more drug charges.

Rochester police say they caught Richard Alan Betts, 52 of Rochester, with 11 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana wax, five oxycodone pills, packaging materials, and scales on April 24. He pleaded not guilty Tuesday to 3rd degree drug sales, 3rd degree drug possession, and two counts of 5th degree drug possession.

Betts was also picked up during a drug sweep in May and charged with 1st degree drug sales. He’s accused of selling 29.3 grams of meth to a confidential informant in December 2017. He pleaded not guilty to that crime in June.

Betts is now scheduled to stand trial in both cases on November 19.
