An early-morning garage suffered smoke and fire damage and caused around $7,500 in damage.

ROCHESTER, Minn. - An early-morning garage suffered smoke and fire damage and caused around $7,500 in damage.

The Rochester Fire Department responded to 1531 19th Ave. SE at 12:25 a.m. and found a detached garage with smoke and flames coming from it.

Contents inside the garage were damaged.

The Rochester Fire Marshal’s Office will determine the cause of the fire.
