Rochester, Minn.-- Police are investigating six separate armed robberies that happened in the past 36 hours.
Authorities say they believe five of the robberies involve the same suspects because of the clothing and suspect descriptions. All of the following reports are from Rochester:
The first happened at 832 21st Ave around noon on Friday.
2 male suspects were described as being black, in their late teens or early 20s, wearing masks, and armed with a handgun.
The next was reported at 12:14 Saturday afternoon at El Buen Vino Liquor Store, located at 1831 24th St. NW.
3 male suspects were described as black, in their late teens to 20s, wearing masks, and armed with a handgun.
The third was reported as happening at 4:46 Saturday evening at the intersection of 60th St and 25th Ave NW.
Police say a Godfathers Pizza delivery driver was robbed of a red Toyota Yaris at gunpoint by 2 black male suspects.
The next happened at 5:26 on Saturday at Motel 6, located at 2107 W. Frontage Rd.
2 male suspects were described as late teens to 20s, wearing masks, and armed with a handgun.
The fourth was reported at 6:03 on Saturday at Fairfield Inn and Suites at 470 17th Ave NW.
Officials say 4 black male suspects armed with multiple handguns were caught on surveillance camera.
Police say they may have fled the area in a maroon Pontiac G6.
The last was reported at 6:03 on Saturday as an attempted robbery at Silver Lake Park.
A suspect described as a white male with a beard allegedly tried to rob a victim at knifepoint. Police say they do not think this was related to the other robberies.
