Investigation into Mason City house fire

Crews are investigating a report of a house fire Monday morning.

MASON CITY, Iowa – Crews are investigating what caused a house fire Monday morning. It happened at 510 N. Jackson Ave. after 8:00 a.m. Crews quickly put out the fire and everyone made it out safely. Two animals were also removed from the home unharmed.
We will have more information when it becomes available.
