The Giving Your Best partnership program began in 1997 as an endeavor of this station to give media assistance in promoting community awareness of our non-profit programs. “Giving Your Best” represents exactly that. It encourages and challenges the community to help us recognize them. Diamond Jo Casino and KIMT have partnered for success or "its success". We hold monthly meetings that determine each award winner and work together on future projects that personify "Giving Your Best".
There are many wonderful organizations that need our help. Each of us are a valuable resource to these non-profits that rely on volunteers simply to exist each day.
In addition to the Non-Profit of the Month, Tools for Schools and the School Supply Drive, the Giving Your Best program also sponsors the Giving Your Best Family Fair each year in March. And each year our Giving Your Best team partners up with the North Iowa Marine Corps League and The Salvation Army and sponsor and promote Toys for Tots.
If you know someone that you would like to nominate for the Giving Your Best Non-Profit of the Month award, email Michaela Ingersoll at mingersoll@kimt.com, or fill out the form below!
