Does weather interest you? Do you check the rain gauge every time it sprinkles? Then you would probably enjoy being part of Storm Team 3!

 If you'd like to become a spotter, keep reading! We're looking for weather enthusiasts to be weather spotters for us across North Iowa and Southern Minnesota. It's not hard and can be a lot of fun.All you need is a rain gauge, a ruler and a touch tone phone. When it rains, check the gauge and give us a call with your rainfall amounts. When it snows, take a couple stabs with the ruler and let us know. When the skies turn nasty, keep us posted about what is going on at the front of the storm. It's that easy!
We're looking for spotters all over North Iowa and Southern Minnesota. Since we have gauges set up at the studios, we have Mason City covered. But if you live in any of the following counties in North Iowa or Southern Minnesota, we'd like to have you as part of our  team. In North Iowa: Bremer, Butler, Cerro Gordo, Chickasaw, Fayette, Floyd, Franklin, Hancock, Howard, Humboldt, Kossuth, Mitchell, Winnebago, Winneshiek, Worth, or Wright. In Southern Minnesota: Dodge, Faribault, Fillmore, Freeborn, Mower, Olmsted, Steele, Or Waseca.
