AMES, Iowa (AP) - Iowa State is getting ready to take another shot at ending its long losing streak on the road. The Cyclones have lost 13 straight road games heading into their Big 12 matchup at Baylor on Saturday night. That skid includes nine straight road losses in conference play. Iowa State hasn't won away from Ames since a 42-14 victory at Texas A&M on October 29th, 2005. Coach Gene Chizik says he's not sure why the Cyclones struggle on the road but notes his players get a lot of energy from the home crowd and it's up to the coaches to generate that energy on the road. Iowa State (2-3, 0-1 Big 12) is coming off a 35-33 loss to Number 16 Kansas and has lost its last three games. Baylor (2-3, 0-1) lost to Number One Oklahoma 49-17 in its Big 12 opener last week.
