Twins Make Jays Look Good

Minneapolis, MN (AP) - Matt Stairs homered and scored twice as the
Blue Jays beat the Twins 5-3 tonight at the Metrodome.
Former Twin Shannon Stewart also had two hits against his old
team -- including an RBI double.
Kevin Slowey pitched five-and-two-thirds innings in taking the
loss for the Twins, who were coming off two straight wins over the
Red Sox.
Carlos Gomez and Jason Kubel hit solo homers for
Minnesota.
