MAPLEWOOD, Minn. (AP) — A man has died after the crane he was operating tipped on its side at a Maplewood construction site.
The accident happened around noon Monday at the St. Paul Hmong Alliance Church.
Police provided medical care to the crane's operator, 34-year-old Cory Lewellin of Ogilvie (OH'-guhl-vee), as they worked to free him from the cab. KARE-TV (http://kare11.tv/1b8s6Nj) reports Lewellin was taken to Regions Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities would not speculate on the cause of the accident. Minnesota OSHA (OH'-shuh) is investigating.
