ALBERT LEA, MN -- Folks in Albert Lea will be noticing a little fog soon.
But don't be alarmed, as the city of Albert Lea will be spraying for mosquitoes.
They began spraying around town last Saturday.
And with all the rain we've had so far this year, they expect they will be spraying for mosquitoes frequently.
"We just saw an outbreak of mosquitoes, so we sprayed Saturday night and we're also going to spray tomorrow night," Parks and Recreation Director Jay Hutchison said. "So, I see we'll probably spray at least once a week for the foreseeable future."
He says the chemicals they use are not harmful to people.
But, people may want to go inside while crews are spraying.
The different weather conditions has the Minnesota DNR urging people to not let their guard down when hitting the ice.
As the temperature drops, we're all reminded to bundle up this winter and avoid too much exposure.
