KIMT NEWS 3 -- The Minnesota Twins are coming together with some law enforcement officer's tonight on the ball field.
More than 30 officers and prosecutors will be recognized during the Twins pre-game festivities at Target Field.
And they're honoring those officers for their work getting drunk drivers off the road.
"This is important because each one of those DWI arrests or convictions translates into saved lives," Sgt. Jacalyn Sticha of the Minnesota State Patrol said. "So, tonight at the Twins game, they will be honoring them."
Sergeant Jeff McCormack of the Austin Police Department will be one of those recognized.
He had 61 DWI arrests in 2012.
He says it's an honor to be recognized for getting those drunk drivers off the road.
