ROCHESTER, MN--Mayo Clinic workers are apparently the targets of a new telemarketing scam.
A spokesman for Mayo confirmed a number of staff members are getting calls from a people posing as either Qwest or A-T
and T.
The callers are asking for them to provide authorization to change their phone accounts.
Mayo believes it's part of a scam designed to trick people into giving the "okay."
It can lead to unauthorized billing charges.
Employees are being told to just hang up.
