Deadly Southwest Iowa Crash by Associated Press

FARRAGUT, IA--- One teenager is dead and five others hurt

after a car and a pickup truck collided near Farragut in southwest

Iowa.

 

The Iowa State Patrol says 16-year-old Wesley Hall, of Farragut,

was killed in the crash.

 

The patrol says Hall was driving a pickup truck on a Fremont

County road Friday night when a car driven by 17-year-old Cara

Burroughs, of Shenandoah, attempted to pass him.

 

The patrol says Burroughs lost control and the two vehicles

collided.

 

Burroughs and four other teens were hurt. The patrol's report

didn't say which vehicle the four teens were in.

 

The investigation is continuing.
