Mason City, IA- A North Iowa business is trading health services for food.
Haas Chiropractic Clinic in Mason City is working with Hawkeye Harvest food bank to collect non perishable food items.
They hope to collect 500 canned goods for families in need on thanksgiving. In exchange for five food items, they are offering their first day service at no charge to new patients; existing patients get a free adjustment.
"It's a discount for them to be able to get their initial workup done under chiropractic care and at the same time help others in the North Iowa area, so it's a double win," said Dr. Rick Haas.
The food drive is going on all week at Haas Chiropractic. Even if you’re not looking at getting an exam you are welcome to stop by and donate.
