Take a Backseat Bambi KIMT News 3

Mason City, IA-- An interstate crash deposits a deer in a woman's car.

On Tuesday, a Des Moines woman was driving a P-T Cruiser on I-35 in Cerro Gordo County when a deer hopped in front of her.

It went through Crystal Farley's windshield and landed in her backseat.

The deer died, but farley is okay.

The towing company that helped her said she's lucky.

Mark Garret with Meyers Wrecker and Repair said, "they're probably one of the hardest accidents to avoid it seems the deer just jump out of anywhere by the time you see them its normally too late."

Garret says the deer was still in the car when he towed it back to the shop.

He said it was so bloody, he had his boss take care of the carcass.
