MASON CITY, IA - Police have identified the man found dead this morning in the parking lot of a Mason City restaurant.
Authorities identify the man as Brian J. Bode, 45, of Mason City. Police were called to the scene at Papa's Restaurant around 8:40 a.m. Bode was found deceased at the scene. After a preliminary investigation, police believe Bode died of natural causes, and they do not suspect foul play. An autopsy is planned for later today.
