The Cerro Gordo County Department of Public Health wraps up inspections concerning construction work at an area Wal-Mart. The big box retailer is remodeling its Mason City store. Complaints came into the health department about food being exposed to dust and toxins. Brian Hanft says what was found during the inspections did not warrant a citation.
"Strong recommendations were made to Wal-Mart that some proper action should be taken if food cannot be covered," said Hanft
Each complaint received by the health department is taken very seriously said Hanft.
