Newspaper Name Change

Garner, IA - Several school districts in our area are consolidating. Now an area newspaper is doing a little revamping of its own.
"The Southern County News" has gone to press for more than a century. The name of the newspaper is fifty years old, and now they need the surrounding communities help to spruce things up, so the staff is asking for suggestions. The winner gets a $100.00 cash prize and a one year subscription to the newly named paper.
The merging of several schools is one of the things prompting the "Name The Paper" contest.
