Mason City, IA- The rainy weather didn't keep police from showing off what they do Saturday. It's the Mason City Police Department's annual open house. They let folks in to take a look at what how things operate. Police talk with community members about law enforcement and show their tools of the trade. They also displayed a historical police vehicle. The chief says it's important to interact with public. The open house is to kick off "National Police Memorial Week".
