Winter Returns Associated Press

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Part of northern Iowa could be in for
spring snow.

A system moving across the region is bringing a threat of snow
-- up to 6 inches or more.

The National Weather Service says precipitation will spread east
across the Central Plains tonight with snow possible in South
Dakota, Minnesota, northern Iowa and Wisconsin.

Light snow is expected tonight, with heavier snow tomorrow.

Northern Iowa is included in a winter storm watch posted for
late tonight and tomorrow.

Rain is expected from central Iowa into Missouri.
