MASON CITY, IA – The wait is over BBQ enthusiasts! The Up in Smoke BBQ Bash begins Friday.
Thursday morning the teams started to arrive and set up.

They're coming for all over the country to try their hand at becoming the 2013 champions.

"We have some other categories that we do here that's unique to Mason City it's called "anything but" where they can do anything but what they usually turn in for the KCB sanctioned competition," says Ruth Miller.
