Osage, IA - The Mitchell County Board of Supervisors are meeting to talk about the damage that has been done so far.
And at the emergency gathering, the city did not budget for this type of problem.
From highways to gravel roads, construction signs are up throughout the county because of road damage.

And while that is a problem, County Engineer Richard Brumm says the cost of the damage is the least of his worries.
"My main concern is public safety and our gravel roads are pretty tough right now. It's going to take us some time to get there. We got a lot of washboard, a lot of potholes lots of things washed out so drive sensibly," said Brumm.
It may take a month before Highway 9 is open again.
And officials keep stressing that drivers should only use black top roads.
