ADAIR, Iowa (AP) — The Iowa State Patrol says troopers found about 50 pounds of marijuana in a vehicle during a traffic stop on Interstate 80 in western Iowa.
Des Moines television station KCCI reports (http://bit.ly/15favUZ) that the drugs were found Wednesday when a trooper pulled over an out-of-state vehicle.
Troopers took the vehicle to a Department of Transportation garage in Adair after the discovery.
The patrol is not yet releasing more information about the stop or the occupants of the vehicle.
