Mason City, IA - The Mason City Police Department are searching for a man accused of assaulting four women on Wednesday evening.
They say the 22-year-old William Alan Evans was walking along the 300 block of North Adams Avenue around nine Wednesday nigth with one of the female victims, when he starting assaulting her.
Three other females saw the assault and ran over to help.
Police say Evans then assaulted them.
Officer Matt Heuer says this case is something many can learn from.
"Know who you're hanging out with, who you're being around, and watch your surroundings. Stay in well-lit areas, don't walk in the dark if you're out at night," said Heuer.
The victims range in age from 30 to 65 years old.
Evans is wanted for three counts of serious assault along with one count of domestic assault.
