DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Des Moines police say at least 10 gunshots were fired in a drive-by shooting near King Elementary School.
The Des Moines Register reports (http://dmreg.co/1aCgSBA) that shooting happened Friday night.
Police found no evidence that anything in the area was hit.
Residents reported hearing an outburst gunfire around 8 p.m. near the intersection of Clark and 18th streets. Officers recovered 10 spent shell casings in the area. Nine looked like they were the same caliber. A tenth appeared to be of another make and caliber.
No injuries were reported and no suspects have been identified.
