WATERLOO, Iowa (AP) — Six people have escaped from flames that heavily damaged their mobile home in Waterloo.
The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier says (http://bit.ly/15E3ATL) the fire awakened the residents about 3:45 a.m. Friday.
Twenty-eight-year-old Tenesha Diekman told the newspaper that "when we woke up, I noticed the bed was on fire."
Family members say they didn't hear any smoke alarms. No injuries have been reported.
Waterloo fire Capt. Bill Harter says the cause of the fire is under investigation.
