BROWNSDALE, Minn. - Pink will be taking over another local community starting in February.
Brownsdale will be holding a 'Paint the Town Pink' fundraiser.
The event raises awareness and support for the Hormel Institute's breast cancer research.
They become the first community outside of Austin to host their own event.
“There in the process of setting up a snowmobile event for that weekend to draw in some funds,” ‘Paint the Town Pink’ Director Kathi Finley said. “They've got their Facebook page up and running, they've done a bake sale. They are going to have a big thermometer to mark their progress that sits in the part there. They're just so excited.”
The Brownsdale event runs February 7th through the 9th.
