FLOYD COUNTY, IA-The Floyd County Sheriff's Office said they responded to a single vehicle rollover Sunday morning around 7am West of Floyd at the 208 mile marker on Highway 18.

The vehicle was driven by 60-year-old Virginia Miller from Minneapolis. She was traveling westbound when her car went off into the north shoulder. Miller tried to over correct and in doing so, rolled the car several times on the highway before it came to rest on its wheels in the middle of the road.

There were six people injured. They include Miller, 35-year-old Jessica Miller, 15-year-old Tracy Edwards, 14-year-old Tajjenay Edwards, 11-year-old Trenyqua Edwards and one-year-old Anijh Light. They are all from Minneapolis.

The Sheriff's Office said they have various degrees of injures, but none appear to be life threatening. They were all taken to Floyd County Medical Center.

Deputies credit seatbelts and a child restraint car seat from more serious injuries occurring.
