MASON CITY, IA - Folks living near East Park are saying they aren't too concerned with flooding this year.
Big ice chunks are left behind showing how high the water was.
The streets in the area are still closed off and the water is moving quickly in the river. People are stopping by to take a look at the flooding.
Resident Jason Brahm, is saying he's not concerned about the water getting much higher. "The water is pretty high, not quite as bad as 2008 and i'm hoping it doesn't get that bad."
Brahm says he just wants the water to go down so he can start fishing.
