Sun Protection Education by Amy Fleming
KIMT News 3 & MedStarSource

Decatur, GA - Every year we seem to be seeing more and more cases of skin cancer.

But some medical students have a lesson for all of us about how we can avoid it.

Using props and skits, medical students from Georgia are giving the message about skin protection to second graders.

Sun is important for life, but can also be dangerous.

Doctors say kids learn better if there are a lot of teaching aid and visual props.

The teachers also hand out little bracelets with beads that turn color when you've had too much sun.

It's all easy enough for the little ones to comprehend.
