New Haven, CT - It seems that discrimination against overweight people is on the rise in the U.S.
According to a recent study experts at Yale say weight discrimination is increasing at an alarming rate, and it goes far beyond name-calling.
Study participants reported being denied scholarships, jobs, promotions, and even bank loans because of their weight, as well as being threatened or harassed.
Some people even reported receiving inferior medical care.
