 There are so many people in our area that are always giving of their time, and talents to help others. Even through they don't seek recognition for all of their hard work, it is always nice to receive a 'thank you'.
That's why every first Thursday of the month during our 6pm newscast KIMT and our Giving Your Best partners award a special person in our community that makes a positive impact on others.

 KIMT and our Giving Your Best partners, Audibel Hearing Centers, Carlos O’Kelly’s, and First Citizens National Bank would like to congratulate Joe Borger of Mason City, IA as the July Giving Your Best Award Winner.
Joe has volunteered a lot of his time helping refurbish the Rotary Cannonball in East Park, has painted houses for Habitat for Humanity, and went to Ecuador in Central America to help build a school for the children. |

Tom has volunteered every Tuesday for the past 18 years at Sacred Heart School. He helps the teachers, the students, and always has a smile on his face to brighten everyone’s day. |

Bruce is in charge of the concession stand for track, softball and baseball. Since 1995, he has put in many hours preparing, cooking, and serving and has helped raise thousands of dollars for the athletic booster club. |

Ashley leads the group, OUTLOUD which provides singing and dancing each week to the younger kids at Zion Lutheran Church in Clear Lake. Her endless energy, dedication, hard work and commitment to the kids has had a positive impact on her peers. |

Jordan and Matt raised money for Wes Bier, a family friend that was very ill. They made buttons that said “God Bless Wes”. Over 400 buttons were sold to help the family with expenses. |
