DETROIT (AP) — Author Steve Hamilton’s latest Alex McKnight novel has the fictional hero making the trip from the Upper Peninsula to his old stomping grounds in Detroit.
“Let it Burn” comes out on Tuesday, which is when Hamilton also kicks off a book tour in support.
He’s to be in Okemos on Tuesday; Gaylord, Charlevoix and Petoskey on Wednesday; Mackinac Island and Mackinaw City on Thursday; and Traverse City and Ann Arbor on Friday.
In “Let it Burn,” McKnight goes back to the Motor City, where he was a patrol officer decades earlier. He revisits an old murder case in which he may have arrested the wrong man.
