Not seeing any of the weather cancellations update? Here's what you can do to make sure you're seeing the most up-to-date cancellations.
Internet Explorer - go to "tools" and then to "Internet options." Where you see "browsing history" click on "settings" and then make sure "every time I visit the web page" is selected. This should solve your problem.
FireFox 3 - The latest version 3 released in June has removed the ability to easily disable the cache to prevent loading of old web pages. It is now apparent that this is causing a problem with our cancellation pages which are running the same as they did last year. After researching this problem there are many other webmasters that are running into this exact same issue and are extremely frustrated. The best solution that may or may not is to hold down your shift key and press reload as this should force a download of the new file. The next best option is to go to "tools" and then "clear private data." Uncheck everything but "cache" and press "clear private data now." We are working on finding a better solution and will post it here when we get it. Finally, if that doesn't work, try going to the
School Closings feed page and trying the shift reload again. Do not bookmark this file as the file location will be changing soon. As we work toward a solution to this problem we will post it here. Otherwise, the best advice is to use a browser other than FireFox 3 to view these pages.
