You can now purchase a NOAA Weather Radio through a discount set up through an Internet retailer. You can buy a weather radio at your local HyVee Store for $29.99 through June or buy a weather radio and accessories here.

KIMT-TV, in cooperation with the National Weather Service and your local emergency managers have put your safety first by installing a NOAA Weather Radio on the KIMT broadcast tower in Saint Ansgar, Iowa. The transmitter will reach several counties in North Iowa and Southern Minnesota. At this point, the National Weather Service is carrying warning and forecast information over the St. Ansgar frequency (162.450) for the following counties: Cerro Gordo, Chickasaw, Floyd, Freeborn, Howard, Mitchell, Mower and Worth. Other NOAA weather radio transmitters are also operating in Mankato, Rochester, Forest City, Fort Dodge, Waterloo and Ringsted.
