hey good evening everyone. while the osage football program is off to a 5á2 start on the season, quarterback brett bobinet is having an outstanding year. bobinet broke three records this past friday night in the green devils 60 to nothing win over north butler making him our studentá athlete of the week. brett's been awesome this year. really unassuming guy and he had been a backup quarterback for a couple of years and he played really well on our jáv squad and he kept believing in his talents and in his teammates and he's come out and really produced well for us. quarterback brett bobinet leads class 1a in both yardage with twoáthousand fiftyáthree and total touchdowns with 24. we just we knew coming into it that we were going to be throwing the ball quite a bit and huge props to my receivers for running some pretty clean good routes and catching the ball when it was there and to my line for giving me that time to be able to throw. in friday's shutout win versus north butler... bobinet shattered three school records including single game touchdowns. it's pretty awesome to be a part of that i mean i always look at the record book and see those big names up there and actually to be a part of it is pretty cool. coach finn says the program has seen lots of talent over the years... making this an impressive feat. we've had some pretty good guys come through here and play in that spot and so it's a special credit to brett. and while the green devils carry a five and two record, brett says the season has been great so far, but there's still work to be done. it's been awesome i mean its kind of what we wanted and so far we're undefeated in the district and we've just got to keep it going and
