(((weather at wall(((we have seen soaking showers overnight which has lead to some local flooding across parts of north iowa and close to the ia mn boarder. the rain is lasting through the morning which will keep the flood threat prevalent over the region. river flooding will be expected over the next few days. the rain will stop around and after 12 pm today. temperatures will climb quickly back into the 80's just before more storms move in. an enhanced risk for severe weather will be present with elevated strong wind and tornado threats. behind this strong cold front will be much colder temperatures. lows tonight will fall to the mid 50's and then highs on friday will only be in the mid 60's. the cloud cover will stick around throughout much of the day on friday before it finally clears friday late afternoon. the weekend is looking dry with highs only in the mid to upper 60's on saturday and then the lower 70's for sunday. we're tracking more storms next monday night. today: scattered am storms/returni ng by pm/windy. highs: mid to low 80's. winds: south at 15 to 20 mph. tonight: scattered storms/windy. lows: mid 50's. winds: northwest at 12 to 18 mph. friday: mostly cloudy/aftern oon decreasing clouds. thanks jon.
