neighbors are reacting to construction on a long stretch of 20th street southeast in rochester. the red line on this map shows just how far it spans ? from 3rd avenue to 11th avenue southeast. starting tomorrow morning ? construction will shift to the north side of the street. that means it will still leave only one lane of traffic... as crews work to repave and replace storm manhole covers. we spoke to neighbors today who live just a street over on 19th street ? with one not wanting to be on camera. they tell us this construction is needed... but they want to remind drivers who may take their street as a detour to slow down ? because it's right down the street from a school./// cars are coming by here, going faster than 30 and we have a lot of little kids in this neighborhood, and it concerns me. slow down, and i holler it. and what i do, if they touch their breaks i walk towards the car, because they could never live with themselves if they hurt one of the kids. according rochester public works, the construction is scheduled to last into the month of still
