the construction on second street in downtown rochester isn't only affecting drivers, but also people who take and work with public transit. kimt news three's annalisa pardo joins us live with how people are reacting to the construction. arielle and tyler ? rochester public transit has alternate routes, like pick ups here at virgils, during these two weeks of construction, and are warning riders of system wide delays. drivers and riders tell me, it's going to be a long two weeks. you can't look down second street without seeing a sea of orange, and collages of traffic signs. it was a struggle this morning trying to get over the bridge at 52 on this side... a lot of patience. dan the bus driver is passing out candy to bus riders like robin naylor. he does regularly, he hopes it will make the delays during construction a little sweeter. robin's bus route hasn't changed, but is delayed... which is something she's getting used to. rochester is always under construction. we are like constantly... spring and fall are always under construction so it's just not a shock to the system. while she is used to it, robin says she's ready for construction to wrap up. live in rochester, annalisa pardo, kimt news three. we have a link to the changes in bus schedules with this story on kmit dot com with this story under local news.
